Planning and Zoning

The Planning and Zoning Department oversees the comprehensive management of land use regulations, zoning ordinances, and the efficient processing of various permits for development and construction activities within the community. The department's goal is the proper, orderly and efficient growth of all sectors of the city, commercial, industrial, residential etc.  The efforts are guided by the City's Comprehensive Strategic Plan, Future Land Use Plan and Zoning & Subdivision Ordinance.  These documents can be referenced below.
