10/1/2026 Construction Update for Lead Service Line Replacements - Zumbrota, MN
Lead and galvanized water service lines are being replaced throughout the City beginning this fall and continuing through next summer. Affected property owners have been sent a letter, and the properties have been visited to gather more information on the replacements. There is no cost to property owners for the replacement of lead or galvanized water service lines under this project.
JJD Companies out of Blooming Prairie will be performing the work. The contractor will be in town preparing for construction over the next few weeks and anticipates beginning the replacements in mid-October. JJD plans to contact individual properties by visiting properties or using contact information we have gathered through previous project outreach.
