5-5-2025 Construction update for Mill & 6th Street

Upcoming schedule:

Beginning in May

• Damaged concrete will be repaired throughout the project
• Tree planting will occur in yards where trees were removed.

Beginning the week of May 12th:

• Sod will be placed in the alley and areas where the original sod did not grow. Care for the new sod will be the homeowner's responsibility after a 30 day maintenance period from the time of placement. Sod placed last year is now the homeowners responsibility. Tips to care for new sod are posted on the City website.

Beginning in June:

• The final lift of pavement with be placed on Mill Street and 6th Street
