State House Capital Investments Committee Meets at Zumbrota City Hall
The State House Capital Investments Committee met at Zumbrota City Hall on Wednesday October 25th. The Cities of Wanamingo, Pine Island, Goodhue, Zumbrota, and Prairie Island Indian Community presented on the second capital request in order to construct a regional waste water treatment plant (WWTP) and collection system. The State Legislature appropriated $10 million this past summer to design the treatment facility and purchase land for the future treatment plant. Plans are well on their way for both. The Cities, collectively, wish to thank the Committee members and area Representatives Jacob, Altendorf, and Daniels for their time to listen to the next request and appreciate their support of the project.
