8/14/2025 Construction Update 2026 Street Improvements

Upcoming schedule:

Dubuque Boulevard and a section of Sugar Loaf Parkway will be reclaimed (turned to gravel) the end of next week or the week of August 25th.  The roadway will still be passable for local traffic, but delays should be expected while construction equipment shapes and compacts the rock. 

Blacktop paving will follow the road building operation.  Several other street patches will be paved while the paving contractor is in town. Blacktop pavement can be driven on hours after placed and will be cool enough to walk or bike on the next day.

Project schedule is weather dependent and subject to change.
