8/18/2026 Construction Update for Pleasant Avenue Loop - Zumbrota, MN

Upcoming schedule:

• Wood chips from tree clearing will be picked up starting Today or Tomorrow.
• Starting Friday 8/21/2026 the following items will occur in Phase 1 (East 5th Street between 1st and 2nd Avenue and East 2nd Avenue from 5th Street to 6th Street).
• Phase 1 will be reclaimed (turned to gravel). The roadway will still be passable for local traffic, but delays should be expected while construction equipment shapes and compacts the rock. 
• Temporary water lines will be placed and tested.  Affected properties will have their water service switched to the temporary lines.  
• Sanitary sewer, and Watermain, will be installed in Phase 1.
