Goodhue County has authorized the creation of the Goodhue County Workforce Housing Assistance Program.  The program is designed to promote home ownership within Goodhue County.  The assistance is in the form of a low interest, 5-year installment loan.  Qualified home buyers will be served on a first come, first serve basis.

First-Time Homebuyer Program

SEMMCHRA’s 2023 allocation for loans to first-time homebuyers will be available in early 2023. If you are a first-time homebuyer or have not owned a home in the last three (3) years, you may qualify. The minimum requirements are buyers must have a minimum  credit score of 640 and must meet income guidelines.

Goodhue, Wabasha, Winona Counties
1-2 persons: $104,000
3+ persons: $119,600

Dodge County
1-2 persons: $111,500
3+ persons: $128,200
