Welcome

The City of Zumbrota warmly welcomes you to enjoy all of our fantastic amenities.  A must see for all visitors is the Historic Covered Bridge spanning the Zumbro River at West Avenue.  Minnesota's only remaining original covered bridge is listed on the National Historic Register.  It has been restored to its authentic state, reflecting the heritage of early pioneer settlers.  The bridge is nestled just upstream from its original location over the Zumbro River in the 85-acre Covered Bridge Park. The park is also the trailhead for the Goodhue Pioneer State Trail, a multi-modal trail which connects with the cities of Goodhue and Red Wing.

Visit Zumbrota to take in the lively yet nostalgic historic downtown, with numerous shopping, dining and entertainment venues.  Recreation abounds at the Covered Bridge Park, offering a playground for all ages to walk, bike, play ball, horseshoes and much more.  So please, take the time to check out the many exciting opportunities Zumbrota has to offer!
